K, eumonic energy is another way to say magic in this game...but I think it's tacky, and Dev said we should keep the term magic, but as a different word/term. So here's where it happens. Doesn't have to change, can or doesn't have to be related to the word eumon (wait...that word works...lol), can be totally different from eumonic words. I actually think Eumon could work...but I think that's a little too much use of eumon-whatever. Up to you.

Alright...GO!

"Eumonic energy" (or "eumonetic energy", to which I am about to change it) is meant to be the scientific term. It is analogous to "kinetic energy". I was trying to present the whole thing as if it were a branch of physics.

In the actual game, I think we would just call it "energy".

The term "magic" itself becomes simply "eumonetics". "Spells" becomes "eumonetic techniques". I don't see any problems with those...

...meh, I disagree, I like eumon to replace "magic". Eumonetics is more the study of eumon and use with eumonite, things like that. That's what I thought. Spells could stay spells in my book, but techniques are fine too. Just kinda have the seperation thing from Chrono Trigger stuck in my mind, that's all =)

Err... well I think "eumon" sounds dumb. So there. :P

"Eumon" sounds like a quantifiable noun, like an item... or even a particle. It does not sound like a field.

"Electronics" is not the study of "electron".
"Kinetics" is not the study of "kinet".

Part of the point of naming it "eumonetics" was to make it sound like a science, and not like "magic" at all.
