There have been a few, but why would anyone post to the forum of a dead project?

i don't know, i thought maybe since so much work had been done, people would atleast try to stay in touch. lol i never really did anything for the project, so i don't guess it is my place to say. hey temp did you ever finish that new programming language you were working on?

The web server that runs this site is written in that programming language. :)

What is available now is a prototype. I will produce a production implementation eventually.

Yeah, I drop in now and then, too. Keep hoping for an unexpected resurgence. ;) It really is a shame this didn't go further, but oh well... Sometimes I think it would be fun to turn the story into a novel, though.

These days, I'm married and working as a legal assistant. Also developing a couple of websites on the side.

I'm still in a God awful mess with lack of motivation and direction.

I've tried to move things on this site, but the train is just too big and heavy to get moving by too little and weak people.

It saddens me, however, that so much time, effort and love have gone into what we currently have and to let it go to waste afterwards.

But what Temp says is true, the time the dedication takes will be taken from our clock cards. Indie work rarely ever reaches fruition without utmost passion, or outside, 'upper' assistance.

I feel a 'revival' topic will not make much difference at this stage, either. Something must be done, tho.

How does everyone feel?

(If anybody wants to speak about this quite quickly and can't wait for me to remember to check back, email me davh27 [ at ] hotmail [ dot ] com but I shan'et be holding my breath. Woe...)

The only way a project like this gets going is if the leader also has sufficient skill to build some kind of a framework themselves, whether that be coding or art. (Those are the two big parts.)

If you think you can be that leader, then it's doable. If you can't, it's not. C'est la vie.
