You don't have any contact details in your membership page. This is perfectly understandable but this project relies on communication (which it currently strongly LACKS).

You should know I love this project, and I'm worried about it's current status.
I jus want to chat with him to see if we can both syphon something for the project. Dev himself said that this project needs a bit of direction.

Not sure if you noticed, but the project has been given that direction in the last few weeks. We're doing weekly meetings now, we have a long-term plan, etc.
It concerns me that you intend to make plans for the project in private conversations between you and other people who are not project leaders. You need to be talking to Dev or myself about these things, or posting them openly on the forum.

If you just want to talk to people about the project -- without giving the impression that you speak for the project -- that's fine. You are free to IM or e-mail anyone who has listed their contact info in the user list. However, I am asking that you not send out any sort of mass-messages. Just talk to one at a time, please. And, again, make sure they understand that it was your idea to contact them, independent of the project.
