has anyone else seen the trailer for this? If not, DO IT!!!!! Its AWESOME! It comes out in Japan in 2004 summer so who knows when it will be here but still. Well if you dont know anything about it its a hour long dvd movie taking place 2 years after the meteor incident, you guys have to see it! I'll try getting a link to it on the internet. I saw it on Tech TV and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!! THe best part.... Sephiroth is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, let explain(a little). Square(the company not the shape) is making a short dvd film based from characters from Final Fantasy 7. Which obviously(spelling!?!?!) my friend indigohawk has not played(FOR SHAME!!!!!!!!!). Second(if there was a first) he is designing dragons for FoI. Third, the whole meteor/Sephiroth thing is FF7 stuff, everybody have it figured now?

They're making a movie sequel about an hour long in full awesome-quality CG following two years after the events of FF7. Sephiroth is back. Aeris is unknown. See EGM 173 for full details.
About Seraph's friend: I have no clue. Guys, communicate questions like that through email or AIM if you're talking to someone outside the leadership about something with the site. If you have a question FOR the leadership, by all means ask here if you think it'd be a general question most people would ask, just know that email and AIM is still a far better choice of communication for pretty much all your questions.

I as well have heard and seen the Previews for Advent children... Though I SO think that 8 woulve made a better Movie... but hey They ARE making a 8-2 for the PS2 or... mabye... hopefully... for the PS3!!!!!

...for some reason I don't think that's true. They are making an FF7 sequel following the movie for the PS2, but nothing has been officially announced about anything involving FF8...and I doubt there will be simply because it wasn't nearly as successful as most the other recent FFs. Not saying it wasn't good, it's one of my favorites.

um... fatedragon, is english you're primary language? I mean punctuation is everything. Notice how I capitalize the first word in a sentence. I'm not trying to be mean here, but your posts are almost unreadable...
Anyway, I think they need to get over FF7. I didn't like the story all that much. I thought FF6 would have made a much better movie overall then the rehash that was FF:SW. Seriously now, it was FF7 with a few major changes. They've written much better storylines, but they seem to go for the rush of n00bs that flooded after FF7 hit. I can't say that I didn't like FF7, but there are so many better FFs to make movies of.

I totally agree. FF7 was pretty good, but I don't think it's the best FF by any means. FF6 would make a great movie, but it'd be weird to not have a main character, you know? I think FF8 would have alot of potential, being that much of it is already in movie-form. I think if they were to make another FF movie no matter what, they would really need to make it seem like it could be a game like a typical FF, unlike the first FF movie. That's just my opinion.
I'm still excited for this movie nonetheless.
