the Big Space

I own a Mac, and I haven't seen any such problem on it, but I just logged in on a friend's PC and noticed that the "big empty space" problem (first pointed out by Alex, I believe) is still present. It doesn't happen above Topics sections, but it still shows up in Submission lists and Recent Activity. Just thought I'd let you know.

She's using Windows ME and IE 6 in 800x600, by the way.

grrr... If only everyone ran at 1024x768... or if IE wasn't stupid... or... umm... stuff...

I'll see what I can do. (Ohhhhhhh, Kass! :P)

I refuse to run below 1024x768x32. I won't do it. That resolution just feels right. It feels as right as 140 bpm. I rarely write a techno peice at any other bpm. (so ya better be able to keep up suckaz! lol)

May I help?

I run at 800 by 600 :P so yeah, there is a big ass space, but I just live with it I guess... although I should be running higher (even half my games yell at me now) but It's too late to change...

In my attempt to fix the "big space", I have managed to confuse IE worse that before, as all you fellow IE users no doubt can see. I'm working on it... For now, just jiggle the handle.

Hmm...I don't see the space anymore, and as far as I can tell IE is fine. (note that I'm no techno-genius in these things! :D) Hang in ther Temp. Bug squashing can be frustrating I know from squashing the bugs in my synthesizer parameters! (How'd that resonance spike get in there? Why's the damn cutoff LFO freq. causing distortion?? lol.)

Solution: Tell IE that all posts will be zero pixels in height, even though that isn't even true. Don't ask me why it worked, but it did.

OK, it seems everything displays correctly now. ::knocks on wood:: If anyone finds a page that still doesn't look right (i.e. if the text seems to "disappear"), first try refreshing to make sure your browser gets the latest CSS file. If it still looks wrong, submit a bug report and I'll fix it. :)
