FOI Wallpaper rough concept

As i promise this is the first of many more to come. this is just to give everyone an idea of how the final product will be. I've been busy lately so it may take me the end of the week to texture it. It may be a slow process but I'm planning to make wallpaper for each character unless their design hasnt become official yet. Well i hope you like it ,and any advice or requests would be appreciated.

Death - pretty generic enemy. Except this time, its on a horse...of death I guess. I did this one a while back and I just realized that I could use it here. Feedback appreciated.

A Wingless Antarean Concept..too muscly?

I wasn't really looking at anything. But now that I think about it, I almost feel like it's a horse-lizard... or a horse-dog thing. I'm not satisfied with it, but if you like it, I mean, really like it, I can color it and finish it. It's not supposed to be any Antarean in particular. I can't concentrate on 'special' features that distinguish individuals until I get the body down.

I *could* go leaner. This one just ended up being muscular. And the necklace collar thing? No idea. Just seemed like it would look cool around his big horsey neck. That tail thing was random. Just a spike monstrosity there.

Please give me details exactly on what you want me to improve/change..otherwise I'm just floating in the darkness.

PS. The face is crap. I kept erasing and trying again and erasing...and I was tempted to just have a headless thing... I forgot the 'mustache' things too but... just pretend the head looks better than it really is..lol...

Sometimes I wonder if I should think about functionality more than appearance.

Suppose for instance that those feathery ears serve no purpose other than to look cool. Or attract 'mates'. Who knows?

Some Hyde

The idea: Imagine a grumpy old overseer, a side-kick if you will. If he's the 'muscle', then he's a very grumpy kind of muscle that you don't want to cross.

With this idea in mind, I tried to draw a guy who you'd like to avoid in the cafeteria when you pop in to get a bite to eat. I really don't know how I can make a man look 41 years old without making him look like he's 60...

Here he is, anyway.

Anyone want tomake some adjustments, feel free. this is by no means a final thing. But it's a start.

Any suggestions?

My own pet peeves:

1. The Chin is weird.
2. The HAIR. Did he just come out of the mental ward, or is it just me? or maybe the "bed hair" look is in?
3. It appears that his mouth has permenantly frozen into that weird, weird scowl.

Finished. Okay. it sucks. But I had an idea - why not have the bad guys just have 'busts' instead of full out drawings? That way it leaves much to the design people, except what their hair looks like and such... instead of trying to get it all exact. Anyway... I'll be doing more bad guys, if I can manage it.
