This new, cleaner version of the Fate of Io world map includes the major locations, areas, and routes of some of the partys' journeys. (The cream-colored line diagonally crossing the map is the equator.)

Looking good. Just a question, is the game's script already complete? It kind of contribute's to my veiw on this map.

The story is as complete as you see it, in the story section.

how big is the planet? Is that the entire planet?

I'm not suggesting to add more continents etc, I'm just wondering at the size geologically speaking....

I think there are other continents, but they don't come into play in the game. Also, for some time now we've been tossing around the idea that the planet is actually a moon of some gas giant, which would make interesting visuals. Just thought I'd throw that in here.

What I'm thinking about here is that we've mentioned about Kay Pacha being hot because its on the equator.

But, depending on the size of the planet, both continents would be pretty hot.

Obviously the scale is the key here

I think Kay Pacha is supposed to be very jungle-y. Also, you notice that the place where the equator crosses Titan is a desert.

Try not to think about scale. If we wanted to be perfectly realistic about it, the world would end up way too big for the player to traverse. As I recall, our plan was for a completely continuous world, meaning that you actually walk between towns and such. If the world were realistically scaled, that would take way too long.

What we really want is a world around the size of the WoW world. It takes an hour or two to run from one end of a continent in WoW to the other. Though, our world probably won't be as interesting... I'm thinking we should use random terrain generation for most of it. (Quite frankly, we'll never have the resources to create a world as large and detailed as WoW's.)
