I agree with Temp. The Nylon Guitar sounds much better. Otherwise good stuff.

Uh. For the record, I consider this to be Fate of Io's best music. I just don't like the cittern specifically.

Note that this piece is based on the Fate of Io main theme, found here:

The main theme has a midi attached, and you are not only welcome but encouraged to integrate it into your own works (for Fate of Io) where appropriate.

Dev, you should upload the midi for this piece sometime...

Temporal may have a point.. it sounds interesting.. but a lot of people may not think like me. *Sways to it* I'm making a more upbeat version of this song as we speak.

Otherwise, it flows a bit epically. "overland" would work... I feel like I'm about to see an opening screen for a good game. :)

In light of the positive feedback on the newly complete main theme, I thought it'd be good to go back to a "favorite" (at least, according to Temp, it is) and implement that theme. So, I'm sure you're familiar with the worldmap music by now, and here it is with the full 16-measure main theme in each verse.

I went back to a string lead instrument, by the way, as the piano thing just sounded kind of silly to me. Instead, I went with a cittern, which is still a steel-stringed guitar, albeit a more archaic version, and is much less harsh than the guitar used in the original version of this piece.
