i was reading the settings folder and thought composing something for daccha vira would be cool. this is inspired by FFVII's theme where Cloud is confused about who he is.

Yeah, I can tell which piece you're talking about Nix. The trouble is, there are moments I have trouble telling them apart. Not sure ripping recognizable sections from other songs is quite kosher. :\ Not saying that was your intention.
Anyway, as for being Daccha Vira music, it's a little more darker than I envision. The description does make it seem a pretty desperate existence for most people, but that doesn't mean everyone's about to die or that the city's torn by chaos. Of course, we're not looking for happy music ... but something that acknowledges there is a certain amount of social stasis in the area. Yeah, it's a hard idea to interpret musically. :P
The submission here, though, isn't shabby technically, and does show a bit of improvement over the sequencing in your other work.

yea.....i'll get to fixing that part where it sounds just like FF7. i didn't mean to rip it....but i guess i was so inspired by it that i ended up copying a bit of it...hahaha.
yea, it's hard to write music that's dark and yet promises hope?...i used a deceptive cadence at the very end to maybe try make things a bit happier, but i think the problem is with the melody.
