Okay, so for all the music I'm putting up, this is the only one that's actually new material. It's a submission for Tyrus' theme. Since he is the primary antagonist for Part III, I thought it was appropriate that not only he have his own theme, but that it sound like it's a real end-all badguy theme. This particular arrangement is a rather mellow version of the theme, but I think the dramatic chords work to represent his overzealous idealism. I had fun editing this one and adding some extra effects. Maybe a bit over the top ... but then, so is the character. :P

SWEET! That sounded great. I have cable now so I listened to the mp3. Overall the mix was great and the organ sat well. I liked the effects. I can't wait to hear the agressive mix. The melody was good, and ominous, but the organ seemed a little too...major at times. That lent itself well in some places, but others it seemed to kill the ominous cloud that builds around this track. The flutey part...I swear I've heard before. Sounded a bit like No Leaf Clover by Metallica. (Symphony & Metallica disc 1 track 7 I think) Otherwise it fit well. I liked this as Tyrus' theme though. Good stuff as always Dev.

On first listen, I didn't really like the first two organ solos...it might've just been the horrible midi, but it just didn't do anything for me musically either until multiple parts came in. Otherwise I like this piece alot, too.

And I agree Aetrus, the flute part is nostalgic...it kinda reminds me of Landstalker...

Another great piece of work from Dev. I need to start using your stuff as a base for my future attempts.
