CNN and MSNBC are so worried about appearing neutral that their political coverage is worthless. Fox News is so insanely conservative that on election day they had an interview with Newt Gingrich in which the anchor praised him and the Republican congress for bringing about the economic boom of the late 90's. I was watching when it happened. I just sat and gaped. And don't get me started on O'Reilly's constant assertions that supply-side economic theory is some sort of fact when there is no historical evidence supporting it.

If you want to be informed, try reading stuff like the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, or the Economist. Yes, NYT and WP are liberal. WSJ and the Economist are conservative. Read both sides. Especially read the editorials. The important point is, these sources provide actual discussion on the issues and critical analysis, whereas the cable networks would rather feed you sound bites and talking points. Cable news networks would rather tell you about Scott Peterson and waterskiing squirrels than waste your time with anything important.

That said, I have more important things to do than continue this argument. So, I'm stopping here.
