i have an idea on what the game could be. we could make it a text rpg. for those who don't know what that is it is a game that is completely written out. there is no pictures. i know it sounds boring but it might be fun. it might be easier to make also. so what do yall think.

considering all the facts, as in
1) We have a big illustration department with lots of images already
2) text games never have full quality music and we have tons of it
I'd say, unlikely we will do that

Slip, we've spent TWO YEARS creating concept art and designing a game which is clearly not text-based. Why on earth would we change now?

Yea, this game was decided from the beginning to be what it is now. We have graphics, sound, gameplay involving mouse clicks...besides, I utterly hate text games.
Don't take this as dissing though. We aren't yelling at you, just telling you a pretty basic fact. Just making sure we don't start another yelling session here. But yeah: text game is out. Always has been.

Did you take a minute to read up on anything in here before suggesting nonsense? Take a minute to read the story, looking at the pictures, checking out the battle system discussions.

slipT5, we already talked about creating text-based prototypes for some parts of the game, such as some aspects of the battle logic or non-linear story / dialog parts / state engine. No go.
