The introduction answers your questions. As a matter of fact, it was specifically designed to answer your questions. If I were to answer your questions, I would simply say exactly what is already in the introduction. With 152 registered users, we can't give each one a guided tour. If you want to know more about the game, you're just going to have to read about it.
