This is not a true submission though any of you are free to modify it by fleshing out the idea I've got here. Sorry no midi. This was just a small portion of a free style take I was recording with my new favourite pad patch. (called Vangelis. If anyone has seen or heard Blade Runner then you will know where I got the name)

This starts off with the tail end of a longer section that I cut, and goes into an atmospheric ominous type of pad with chords and low end harmony. I thought I'd upload this for your listening pleasure to see where I think dark atmosphere goes, and what I would like to hear in ominous music for FoI.

If you can play it by ear and modify it that way then go for it. Hey you can even take the entire clip and build around it.(hint: the low end goes from E down to B. Although I don't follow the scales completely) This is just an example of what I think dark pieces should sound like.

(yes the timing is off, but only because it's an informal jam and I just changed directions without any lead in)
