A little louder

If you've been somehow unaware, we're getting some work done in the story department, and seeing some nice development elsewhere. Here's a short list of what you may have missed if you're just coming back ... or if you're just confused.

  • The Part IV outline has been posted.

  • Commentary summaries for Part II are finished and posted, and those for Part IV are underway.

  • Tired of "Petrolans"? We're close to a new name. Check it out here.

  • Tired of "Techno-Wizards"? We're close to a new ... wait. Okay, maybe we're not so close, but we're still trying, so go give some input.

  • MABers Xeno and Nix have been busy! Go hear some of their new stuff in the Music section.

Here's some things that you should expect to see pop up in the near future (and if you don't, ask and harass us about it ... of course, you can help out with them!):

  • Fang will be shoring up our locations (in the Setting node), so watch for activity there and don't hesitate to give your ideas.

  • Our archive of old concept art is online, but I still have to decide how to organize it since most files were submitted prior to the TOS (thus, FoI has only implicit permission for their use and we need to make that clear wherever they end up).

  • Part III will be our next big project, and we'll all be working on it together. I'll probably supply a link to the old outline, and we'll go from there.

  • We also might (might) begin fleshing out our magic system now that all prototype pyramid faces are complete. You may see a topic to vote on which glyphs to keep and which to get rid of (since we won't be using all 80 or so that are currently on the pyramid).

That's about it for now. Yes, I'm back and slowly finding how to work FoI time into my work schedule. So let's get stuff done and have some fun! ... rhyming ... time to stop ... typing ...

We need to make decisions faster. Simple things like choosing names (such as "gygan" or "eumonics") shouldn't take days, and shouldn't require the input of everyone in the project. Not entirely sure what to do about this, though.
