i actually started this a long time ago...
it's a (very) slight variation on another person's design -- can't remember who. it's severely unfinished, as you can certainly see. you can tell i hadn't decided on some things yet. also, i had darkened the hair... it was lighter originally (see that color in the palette under the green?).
EDIT:
well, that's nearly finished, aside from a few problems.
since i had so little left to do, i thought i should just bite down and do it whether i felt like it or not. (if anyone was wondering what held me up, it was re-drawing that damned coat-tail thing. ^^; grr. the hand wasn't actually so bad.)
now, to take note of a few issues...
changing the shoulder guard just didn't work out, so it's gotta stay. you can't really delete random design elements.
i attempted changing the spikes to gold studs to echo the belt. but, like i said, it just didn't work. the spikes seem to counterbalance the hair ornament, but i'm not quite sure... i think it had created a triangle with the braid tie, too. hmm.
i had originally extended the arm to counterbalance the braid swinging out in back. cutting it off threw the composition's balance to hell. i thought the bow might be enough to compensate, but it isn't quite in the right space. i added some decoration to the quiver in an attempt to re-balance it.
now, i'm going to have to step back and let this sit on the shelf for a while.
