Hyde is the brawn of the group. He takes care of Pylos' workers: he is in charge of making sure every worker is on task and he often makes surprise checks on employees. He also takes care of employee management, making the hiring and firing decisions within the company.

Hyde does not envy Dantalian's position in the least; being an ex-miner for Pylos, he finds the more menial tasks much more pleasing than the mind games and research the others partake in.
